Тойм:One of the main aspects of an organization is to improve and provide optimal working conditions for workers to increase their productivity and quality of services; for this reason, the Integrated Security Service ECU 911 of the city of Riobamba decided to assess biomechanical and anthropometric ergonomic risks in the call/dispatch and video surveillance workstations, to identify the levels of risks that may affect the activities performed by its employees. Surveys to detect ergonomic hazards were conducted in the two workstations, which determined that 95% of the personnel perform their activities during their entire eight (8) hour workdays in the seated position. It was also detected that they are under the ergonomic risk of repetitive movements since 63% of the operating personnel approximately perform the emergency call answering process twenty (20) times, considering this process work cycle. The Rula ergonomic evaluation was carried out, resulting in an action level of two (2), which means that changes should be made in the task; it is advisable to deepen the study, this result was obtained in the call/dispatching workstations and in the video surveillance workstation. Finally, an anthropometric study was conducted based on the INEN 1646 standard, where it is recommended to check if the furniture is by the matrix determined in this study; for this purpose, the 50th, 90th, and 95th percentiles were used since they are measures that involve all personnel under a specific analysis.
