Čoahkkáigeassu:The present research work, "Pre-sports games in gross motor skills in children," aimed to determine the influence of pre-sports games on gross motor skills in children. The gross motor test was used as a method of data research. The methodology is descriptive and propositional, focusing on formulating and proposing solutions or interventions to solve specific problems or improve current situations. This type of research is not only limited to describing reality but also seeks to generate positive changes by implementing concrete proposals based on the findings obtained. The research is classified as quasi-experimental because it did not carry out a control group and has a quantitative approach since it is based on collecting and analyzing numerical data. These data allow us to objectively and accurately measure the effects of the intervention, that is, pre-sports games, on the variable of interest, which is gross motor skills. The discussion of the results obtained in the gross motor test reflected positive progress in developing the participants' motor skills. In the comparison between the pre-test and the post-test, it is evident that the students improved significantly in all the tests evaluated, going from a predominance of "poor" results to "good" and "excellent.".
