| Тойм: | Tourism in a great source of economy for the different provinces of Ecuador attracting several international tourists with the need to find places in which they can have unique and successful experiences, therefore, this research starts from this. Taking into account as a case determining the needs of the environment, in the evaluation of the signals implemented in the Canton as a result it was found that the majority did not comply with standards already stablished as the MINTUR standards for which the creation of a branding strategy based on tourist signage centred on Robert Scott´s methodology was considered as a fundamental factor in order to inform, guide and locate the international tourist within the Canton and from the routes of Quito and Guayaquil to selected attractions through positioning criteria. The probability sampling of the population of the number of international tourists entering Ecuador was determined, allowing us to identify the user profile. Once the results and proposal were obtained, it was considered prudent to create a signaling manual which contains the branding strategy carried out under technical criteria of chromatics, iconography, modulation systems, structures, materials and production technologies. |
