| Achoimre: | The present investigation allowed us to know that there is a problem in the field of identity and autonomy in children, which had the purpose of determining how the Montessori method affects the field of identity and autonomy of children in the first year of basic parallel "C ” of the Unidad Educativa “José María Román Freile”, for this, reliable sources were investigated, which served as the basis for the investigation. In addition, the approach used is qualitative, with a non-experimental design, with a type of basic research, at the documentary level, due to the fact that data was collected from bibliographic sources, monographs, web pages, etc. For data collection, a checklist was developed and applied to children in the first year of elementary school, for this study we worked with the entire population of 33 students because it is small and favorable results were obtained for the investigation. When applying the research instrument, results were obtained which were tabulated, graphed, analyzed and interpreted for the investigation. Finally, it is concluded that the Montessori method serves as a teaching strategy in children, allowing them to increase confidence, be autonomous and independent, since it has been observed that it intervenes favorably in the development of the area of identity and autonomy. |
