Summary:This research facilitated the design and implementation of a digital interactive story as a pedagogical tool to foster critical thinking in preschool children at the Nazareno Christian Educational Unit. Techniques such as observation and surveys were employed, using observation sheets for students and a survey for the teacher. The objective was to understand how the digital interactive story can motivate students to be more active during class time and develop their analytical skills. The results showed that the children were more curious and therefore more participative, expressing their ideas and opinions by asking questions and proposing solutions to the problems in the story. The teacher also highlighted that using digital interactive stories promotes more meaningful learning. The final result was a digital interactive story with engaging images, sounds, and interactive elements that encourage children to participate and make decisions about the story's development, thus strengthening their critical thinking. This interactive digital story is presented as an innovative approach adapted to the new digital age for educational contexts, demonstrating that technological tools in the classroom can serve as an effective strategy for developing students' ability to reflect and express their thoughts
