La gobernanza y el buen gobierno en el GAD municipal de Chambo.

In today's society, national public decision-making processes are becoming increasingly permeable to the influence of international, national, regional and local actors. Given this scenario, the development of this research entitled "Governance and good government in the Municipal Government of Chambo" is proposed with the objective of determining the influence of governance and good government in the municipal government of the canton of Chambo. Therefore, a descriptive and field methodology was applied, with a non-experimental design. The techniques used for data collection were the interview and the survey, through instruments such as the interview guide and the structured questionnaire respectively. The sample consisted of the councilors of the public institution analyzed and the mayor; 385 inhabitants of the canton also participated. The latest version of the SPPS program was used to process the data. The main results showed that, for 51.2% there is no equality in the number of male and female civil servants and for 56.1% the work of the current mayor and his collaborators has not been responsible, transparent and efficient. In conclusion, the governance that is managed in the GAD of the Chambo canton influences its good government as a mechanism to guarantee the rule of law of the Chambeños. Therefore, it was necessary to develop a governance model to solve this situation..
