Résumé:The main purpose of this study was to analyze the benefits of game-based training in cognitive development to improve the teaching-learning process of children at early Education 1 of Unidad Educativa "Liceo Policial" in Riobamba, at Chimborazo province. It has had a qualitative approach, it´s a type non-experimental design because no variable was manipulated, it has been a descriptive level documentary research, to carry out this research and a sample of 17 children of early child´s life 1 was obtained. A data collection is used for the observation method, which allowed the tabulation, analysis and interpretation of the data collection. With the results obtained, it can be stated that game should be implemented as a teaching-learning process in early education, as it is fundamental in the first years of them , therefore the results suggest it should not be taken lightly by both teachers and parents, overall this study highlights the importance of early education providing evidence to support the teaching learning process, future research could explore to achieve most effective in promoting cognitive and enjoyable development in young children.
