總結:Introduction: Biosecurity is a set of rules and measures that protect the health of personnel and patients when exposed to biological, physical, and chemical risks. The surgical environment is the main reservoir of pathogens and contaminants since septic surgeries are performed by breaking aseptic techniques with spills of infection-generating components and imports of microorganisms. For this reason, the application of standardized biosecurity norms is essential to reduce or eliminate factors that threaten health. Objective: To describe biosecurity practices during septic surgical interventions through a systematic review. Methodology: The method used had a qualitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach. The systematic review of the literature was carried out by formulating a search strategy, which was generated from the combination of keywords and Boolean operators, taken from different databases such as PubMed, Elsevier, Google Scholar, and Scielo. Initially, 80 studies were obtained, which went through a screening process based on the PRISMA method, resulting in 21 studies considered in this research. Results: Information was collected and analyzed, obtaining 21 results for the review, allowing the determination of actions to follow during these surgeries and providing quality care, reducing nosocomial diseases. Conclusion: Nursing staff are the main actors during the development of septic surgery, so by responsibly implementing biosecurity norms, which reduce the colonization of pathogens that cause diseases.
