Yhteenveto:The game generates a favorable environment for the teaching-learning process to be enjoyable, affective and at the same time productive, achieving in students the opportunity to learn through activities connected to real life, for this reason, this research work has like general objective to strengthen the learning of geometry through the use of the game as a didactic strategy in the educational processes of the students of sixth grade, parallel A, at “Lauro Damerval Ayora” School, during the 2022-2023 school year, and for its operationalization three specific objectives were established: to determine the level of students´ learning in relation to geometry; to design a proposal for the learning of geometry through the didactic strategy of the game; to execute and evaluate the proposal of using games as a didactic strategy for teaching geometry, likewise we worked with descriptive, analytical, synthetic, statistical methods; and, techniques such as interview and evaluation to a population of 31 students and 1 teacher. Therefore, it is concluded that the implementation of the alternative proposal "Jugando ando geometrizando" promotes students´ interest, motivation, participation and reflection in the educational process, strength students´ abilities and the development of skills that allow them to solve different activities and exercises around geometry; in addition, to provide a suitable class environment where the student is involved in a continuous and permanent way.
