The population consisted of 298 clinical histories, and the statistical program Epi Info was used to calculate the sample, giving a total of 118 post cesarean section patients. The results showed that the most frequent post cesarean section complications were: post-surgical pain (38.1%); postpartum anemia (5.9%); wound infection (3.4%); urinary tract infection (3.4%); postpartum hemorrhage (3.4%); hypertension (2.5%) and fever ( 0.8%), where more than half of the study population corresponds to the age range of 21-30 years, prevailing emergency cesarean sections with Pfannestiel type of incision.
