Sammanfattning:The didactic strategies based on Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences allow attending to the diversity of learning styles, through activities and resources that stimulate the different types of intelligences. The aim of the research was: To enhance the academic performance of students in the subject of Natural Sciences, through the implementation of DSBMI, in the development of the teaching-learning process. The method used was the inductive, from direct observation to the TLP was identified the lack of variety in the implementation of didactic strategies, which generates monotony in the process and limits the development of skills in students. As a consequence, they present low academic performance. According to this reality, through a bibliographic search, DSBMI was defined to solve the identified reality. The approach is qualitative, relevant characteristics of the Natural Sciences TLP were determined. According to the nature of the information, it corresponds to participatory action research. Once the problem was identified, we interacted with the students, through the development of the intervention proposal, improving their academic performance; furthermore, according to the means to obtain the data, it is mixed: bibliographic and field. Information was collected from bibliographic sources and from the educational reality, through research instruments; the research began with the identification of the problem; then, the bibliographic review was carried out, which allowed the design and implementation of the educational intervention proposal; the data obtained were collected and analyzed to establish conclusions. The results obtained through different techniques and instruments determined that the didactic strategies: knowledge fair, explanatory-illustrative, information analysis and discovery learning allowed students to improve their academic performance. It is concluded that the implementation of didactic strategies based on multiple intelligences is effective in enhancing students' academic performance.
