Tóm tắt: | This action research study focused on the improvement English vocabulary with the use of cartoons of thirty five seventh-B year students at “Ciudad de Loja” public school. Seven sessions were carried out to improve the skill using the Cartoons. Researcher’s-made tests and questionnaires were used to measure the students’ progress and perception on Cartoons. Field diaries were also used every session to observe and measure the students’progreess. The results indicated that the use of Cartoons facilitated meaningfully the improvement of vocabulary in English which was reflected in the noticeable increasing of the posttest scores and students’ progress during the intervention. The answers received from the questionnaires also confirmed the enthusiasm and the positive attitude to working with Cartoons. To conclude, this study helped the students to their knowledge of vocabulary in English and to the researcher to his teachings skills. |
