Sumari: | The present work entitled “Feasibility project for the creation of a company that produces and commercializes roasted salt and sweet confit in Loja city” had the purpose of carrying out the objectives such as; the market study allowed to analyze the demand and supply, the technical, legal and administrative study to demonstrate the technical feasibility of the location, project engineering and organizational design and to comply with the precise legal needs for its operation, the financial study and financial evaluation which allowed to know the investment budget and to know the feasibility of the project. The type of research was exploratory- descriptive. Methods and techniques used were: inductive - deductive and techniques such as: interviews, surveys and bibliographic compilation. According to the results obtained in the market study, the real demand for the first year is 66,651,110 grams of roasted candied corn, an annual consumption per family of 2,565 grams of roasted candied corn, for the effective demand is 53,995,660 grams of candied corn, according to the information is compared with the supply that for the first year is 930,859 grams of roasted candied corn from which an unsatisfied demand of 53,024,801 grams of roasted candied corn is obtained. In the technical study it was determined that the designed or theoretical capacity is 19.494.621gr of roasted candied corn that converted to pounds gives us a result of 43.034lb of roasted candied corn per year working 8 hours a day, the company starts working in the first year with 80% of the capacity which is equivalent to 15.595.696 gr of roasted candied corn; in year 5 it will work with 100% of its capacity. In the legal and administrative study the company “Confitería del Tostadito Cía. Ltda.” will be located in the city of Loja, it was established organizational charts and manuals of functions for each position or work area for the company. The financial study established that the investment required for this project is $27,046.49 US dollars. As for the financial evaluation shows that the project is feasible for its operation of which positive values are obtained for the five-year life of the project, therefore a positive NPV of USD 41. 275.68; the IRR of 48.92%; the investment recovery will be in 2 years, 1 months and 23 days; finally the benefit-cost ratio shows that for each dollar invested there is a profitability of $0.24ctvs; and the sensitivity analysis establishes that the project resists an increase in costs of 9.97% and a decrease in income of 9.64% based on the indicators presented, it is concluded that the project is feasible for its realization and a good profitability for its creation and investment. |
