Shrnutí:The research called Oral Expression Strategies and Linguistic Skills, has as its general objective to determine the incidence of oral expression strategies and linguistic skills in Language and Literature of the tenth grade ̈F ̈, Fiscomisional Educational Unit ̈La Dolorosa ̈, Loja, 2023- 2024. Three specific objectives were developed, the first: To diagnose the development of language skills through oral expression strategies, the second: to propose an alternative proposal to improve language skills, and the third to assess the effectiveness of utilizing verbal communication strategies to enhance language proficiency. For the effect of this research, a descriptive type of research with a mixed approach and a quasi-experimental design was used, applying the scientific, analytical, synthetic, deductive, inductive, descriptive, and statistical methods, and the techniques used to carry out this research were observation with a structured card, the interview directed to the teacher, the survey to the students and finally a satisfaction survey directed to the students was applied and the instruments used were the observation form, interview guide and questionnaire, which contributed significantly to the data collection. The research sample was non-probabilistic and by convenience where 21 students and one teacher were selected. Therefore, the strategies of oral expression are essential in the improvement of language skills and turn in the integral formation of students in their personal and academic aspects, this was evidenced by the application of the didactic guide where different strategies that favored the considerable increase of language skills were implemented.
