總結:This research analyzes the effect of human capital and economic growth on unemployment, globally and by groups of countries, using panel data, period 1980-2016. Countries are classified into four groups according to their level of per capita income: high, medium-high, medium-low and low, based on the Atlas method of the World Bank (2016), in order to capture the differences between groups of countries. The data for the variable human capital were obtained from the Barro-Lee database (2016) and the data for the economic growth and unemployment variable of the World Bank World Development Indicator (2016). The econometric model of the Okun Law (1962) was used as a reference, with the objective of examining the behavior of the unemployment rate in the face of changes in economic growth and human capital. The cointegration techniques of Pedroni (1999) and error correction of Westerlund (2007), show a long-term relationship between global variables and for low and low-income countries, while in the short term there is a relationship at a global level and for all groups of countries. The causality tests of Granger (1988) indicate the existence of causality between human capital and the unemployment rate at a global level and for all groups of countries and unidirectional causality between the rate of economic growth at the rate of unemployment at the global level and in the countries of medium-high income.
