The same technology will be used as a teaching tool in the process of learning, thematic given in the textbook of mathematics in the fourth year of basic education delivered by the Ministry of Education. For which we have set as a general objective: Creating an Educational Software as a support for the teaching - learning area Mathematics Fourth Year Basic General Education of Fiscomisional School " Cacha " Canton The Pangui province of Zamora Chinchipe , Period 2013-2014 As the basic methods, Scientific, inductive, deductive, analytic Statistical Model Synthetic and used, also for data collection techniques was used as the survey, which was administered to students to know what part of the learning of mathematics they are more difficult; and an interview to teachers who teach the subject of Mathematics to know what blocks of the subject Mathematics students have more difficulty learning. Application of the Survey and Interview determined that the institution does not have an educational software , 94 % of classes are taught in a traditional way through slate, 79% through posters, among others; also was identified that both teachers and 81% of students would like to learn mathematics through the media . As a final part of this process, we could validate and educational software socialize with faculty and students of the fourth year of basic education.
