要約:The field of logical-mathematical relationships within the early years of life plays a fundamental role as it serves as the basis for acquiring new knowledge. This area develops thanks to the interaction and experiences children have with the environment in which they live, allowing them to characterize and establish relationships between objects to later recognize and perform changes. Therefore, STEM education is proposed with the aim of determining how it contributes to the development of logical-mathematical relationships in children aged 4 to 5 years at Vicente Bastidas Reinoso Elementary School. To conduct this research, a quasi-experimental design since an independent variable was manipulated and the selection of the sample was carried out in a non-random manner. The study was carried out with a mixed approach, analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data. The scope of this investigative work was descriptive in nature. The methods employed were inductive, deductive, analytical, and synthetic; the technique used was observation. The instrument used in this research was the TEMT test, which evaluates the level of early mathematical competence in children aged 4 to 5 years. In the pre-test, it was found that 13% of the children were at a high level. After applying the guide and the post-test, it was found that 69% of the children were at a high level, showing a significant advance of 49% in this field. After observing the effectiveness of STEM education, it is concluded that this methodology significantly favors the field of logical-mathematical relationships. Additionally, while working on mathematics, other areas such as science, technology, and engineering can also be included. Keywords: Classification, correspondence of number, seriation, STEM
