| Summary: | The implementation of playful didactic strategies in the teaching-learning process, generates the active participation of students and improves their academic performance; for this Curricular Integration Work, the general objective was: To enhance the academic performance of students, through the application of playful didactic strategies that allow their active participation in the teaching-learning process of Natural Sciences, of tenth year of GBE, of La Dolorosa Educational Unit, academic year 2023-2024. The method used in the development of this study was inductive; since, through direct observation, the lack of application of playful didactic strategies in the development of the Natural Sciences TLP was evidenced. Therefore, through bibliographic research, pertinent strategies were defined to improve the identified reality. The approach was qualitative, the relevant characteristics of the teaching-learning process and its results were determined. According to the nature of the research, it corresponds to Participatory Action Research, since once the problem was identified, we interacted with the students to achieve the improvement of their academic performance through the development of the intervention proposal. On the other hand, the research is transversal, because, from the diagnosis to the discussion of results occurred in a short period of time; the results obtained through evaluation and research instruments applied, determined that the most effective playful didactic strategies were: puzzle making, alphabet word search, quiz contest, trivia, crossword puzzle solving and memory game, which allowed students to actively participate in the Natural Sciences TLP. It is concluded that the application of ludic didactic strategies in the development of the teaching-learning process enhances students' academic performance.
