| Summary: | The present thesis titled THE ORTHOGRAPHY OF LETTERS, S / C, B / V and G / J, as a methodological strategy to encourage learning, AMONGST FOURTH GRADE STUDENTS OF BASIC GENERAL EDUCATION PARALLEL "A” LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE AREA BLOCK 5 "CLASIFICADOS" AT SCHOOL “JOSE INGENIEROS NO. 2”, PITAS NEIGHBORHOOD, EL VALLE PARISH, OF LOJA CITY 2014-2015; it had as a general objective to determine the orthography‟s application letters, s / c, b / v y g / j, to encourage learning amongst fourth grade students, parallel "A" in Language and Literature Area. The methods used for this research were: cross-sectional design, quasi-experimental, compression, analytical, synthetic, deductive models or proactive approach of workshop and comprehensive evaluation, and the techniques used were: surveys and observation based on questionnaires which were applied to twenty students and one teacher, which allowed to obtain objective and truthful information. After the researcher made the necessary analysis and interpretation, he concluded that most students have deficiencies in the used of letters, s, c, b, v, g, j, in other words they make spelling errors when writing a word or text; so the researcher determined that the methodologic strategies are very important to correct orthographic mistakes. It is very necessary to increase in the academic tasks methodologic strategies to encourage orthographic learning and at the same time to get significant results |
