Zusammenfassung:Cocoa national variety is one of the most important crops in the province of Zamora Chinchipe, especially in Canton Yantzaza where is the sector most productive, because its climate allows it to maintain its special characteristics in aroma and flavor, so this product is required in the local and international market. These features have promoted the existence of small local craft businesses that industrialize this product and in this way it marketed as pasta for further industrialization. However, the demand for this product requires larger companies as we propose , so we made this study whose main objective view the feasibility of implementing a processing company cocoa paste in the city of Yantzaza , which will cover the existing demand and encourage farmers to maintain and increase local production of this type of cacao, as there is a great market to be a product of the most recognized national and global industries and to increase production to processing in the middle, improved prices and thereby living conditions for local producers to get a fair price. The methodology used in this study allowed us through market survey to determine the demand for national cocoa paste , in the city of Yantzaza is 32 783 kg per year and the current offer according to data obtained is 2,592 kg per year . The technical study, we provided the necessary information about the investment costs for the implementation of the company, which reached a value of $ 120,726.84, investment is feasible using equity capital of $ 36,218.05 or 30 % and medium-term financing of $ 84,508.78 which corresponds to 70 %. The financial evaluation, through its indices determines that the capital recovery time is 4 years, 4 months, 22 days considering a sale price of cocoa paste of $ 9.83. The calculated net present value (NPV) is 21,252.55 , or greater than zero, so the project is profitable, consequently cash flow indicates that the project can be amortized over five years. The benefit / cost economic index is $ 1.34 that is favorable and the internal rate of return is 14.94 %, which indicates that there is a feasibility study for the operation of this microenterprise market position covers the study.
