Shrnutí:This Curricular Integration Work was oriented to analyze the methodology of Design Thinking in the teaching and learning of interculturality. Its general objective is to determine the impact of Design Thinking in the teaching and learning of interculturality, in the eighth grade of the Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional "La Dolorosa". A mixed approach research, descriptive and quasi-experimental design was used; among methods such as scientific, analytical, synthetic, statistical, descriptive, and hermeneutic to approach the study variables. The population consisted of 27 students and a teacher of the eighth-grade afternoon section of the institution. Being evaluated through the application of a diagnostic evaluation designed based on the research objectives and a structured interview applied to the teacher. The results of the teacher interview show that, although most of them still do not apply this methodology in the classroom, it can be an indispensable tool to help students in the process of learning and teaching the subject. In addition, within intercultural teaching, it would be ideal to use it for its component of reflection and creativity, by providing the teacher with clearer tools to deal with these complex issues. Regarding the students' survey, it showed that there are different cultural groups, of which 44% are uncomfortable sharing their identity. Although the teacher does promote respect for other cultures, it is essential to use the Design Thinking methodology to improve the interculturality of students by strengthening their interest and appreciation for their culture without any fear.
