Ամփոփում:Gamification as a didactic strategy allows the teacher to use some game elements in the teaching-learning process in order to motivate students, make learning attractive and with this facilitate the acquisition of knowledge. Therefore, the research has the objective of analyzing gamification as a didactic strategy in the teaching-learning process of mathematics in high school students; to accomplish the research, a qualitative approach was used, and the method was the documentary review. For this, instruments such as the search log and the mixed cards were implemented. As results, it was identified the characteristics and elements of gamification that favor the teaching-learning process. Within the main characteristics it was obtained that it increases motivation, creativity, autonomy and encourages the active participation of students, and among the elements that favor learning, the reward, the narrative, and the points stand out. All the mentioned aspects were necessary to elaborate the didactic guide where gamification was implemented as a didactic strategy for the teaching of real numbers in high school Keywords: gamification, didactic strategy, teaching - learning, mathematics.
