Резюме:The Thesis: THE SYMBOLIC GAME AS A DIDACTIC STRATEGY TO IMPROVE THE COEXISTENCE IN THE CLASSROOM AMONG CHILDREN FROM 5 TO 6 YEARS OF AGE AT UNIDAD EDUCATIVA FISCOMISIONAL MANUEL JOSÉ RODRÍGUEZ OF THE PARISH MALACATOS, CANTON AND PROVINCE OF LOJA, 2018 – 2019 PERIOD, has as general objective: to determine the importance of the application of the symbolic game as a didactic strategy used by teachers to improve the coexistence within the classroom of the children from 5 to 6 years of age at Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional Manuel José Rodríguez, of the parish Malacatos; The literature review addressed two topics: symbolic play and coexistence in the classroom; The methods used during its development were: scientific, inductive, deductive, descriptive and analytical synthetic; The techniques and instruments used are: a survey applied to 3 high school teachers and a checklist conducted to 20 children, who constitute the total population investigated; the application of the checklist determined that 35% of children have acquired the skills of the field of coexistence; after designing and executing the proposal they improved significantly in them, as a result 85% of children acquired them, so it is concluded that the symbolic game allows the acquisition of positive behaviors improving the coexisting in the classroom; Therefore, the practice of the symbolic game is recommended to teachers due to the countless benefits that they provide.
