We worked with a sample intentional of 20 traditional therapists (uwishin, yachacs, midwives, herbalists and sobadores), of CantónYantzaza, who they give on handling of snakebites, which are mostly male, aged 60 and over, they know form of snakebite, the orifice caused by the incision of the fangs of the snake, the signs and symptoms in addition to treatment implemented sucking bite site, the use of plants, animals, substances chemicals and rituals. For information on traditional therapists, he worked with the representative of the Unit Intercultural of Rights and Participation in Health MSP, of the Province of Zamora Chinchipe.
