Izvleček:Nowadays, technological tools are of paramount importance because they allow both teachers and students to motivate one another to use ICT. This work presents options on how to improve the teaching-learning process, and from these the need to strengthen and improve the academic performance of students arises. The main objective of this project was to integrate activities based on the interactive book EdiLim, which is being used a didactic resource to strengthen the teaching-learning process in Natural Sciences at Zoila Alvarado de Jaramillo school. This research was quantitative with a cross-sectional design; a population of 38 students and 3 teachers participated. The process for the achievement of objectives is summarized in the first place; in obtaining information on both study variables from different sources of consultation to build the necessary theoretical support, then based on different data collection instruments, the use of EdiLim was established in the classroom and finally, the interactive activities were completed in the digital book. Since this work is born from a problem, analytical-synthetic and inductive methods were used. In addition, for data collection, a survey technique was applied by means of a questionnaire. Among the most relevant results was the interest shown by teachers to learn how to use new technological tools in the classroom, as well as the children´s motivation upon knowing that they can participate in interactive activities like games to consolidate their knowledge in the area of Natural Sciences and the rest of the subjects. Finally, this project highlights that teachers should always be trained in technological areas and be aware of the great benefits that different tools offer as didactic support in the classroom.
