The overall objective of this project is to develop a feasibility study for implementation of a producer and marketer of chocolate carob based in the province of Loja, and based on this the specific objectives were developed to establish market studies, technical, administrative and legal, economic and financial study and finally the evaluation. The methodology used to achieve the objectives referred to deductive method from the general to the particular; and inductive part of the particular to the general. Finally descriptive analytic method; it was required to interpret results and tables based on the results of the market study. To determine product acceptance in the market, a survey was used to buyers and sellers in the province of Loja. In discussing the market research where demand was established it was made; being able to obtain the unsatisfied demand is carob chocolates 167691 in the first year, then the marketing plan, pricing, place and product advertising was established; In the technical study the size and location of the plant is detailed; On the administrative and legal study of the company's business group, the constitution, organization and functions manuals determined. In business study it noted the investment needed to implement the same company is $ 44,900.37 Finally, the evaluation was performed for which the following indicators were analyzed: Net Present Value (NPV) is $ 9,362.48 Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 18.71% Benefit Cost Ratio (CBR) is $ 0.09 cents .; Capital Recovery Period (PRC) is 4 years, 1 months, 24 days, in the Sensitivity Analysis with increased costs of 9.50%, and decreased revenue 8%. Therefore it is concluded that this project is feasible, and its implementation is recommended, because it is economically viable and has a large market. Finally, conclusions and recommendations that were reached to conclude this study are presented, the bibliography and annexes included.

Finally, conclusions and recommendations that were reached to conclude this study are presented, the bibliography and annexes included.Este es un estudio de factibilidad para la implementación de una empresa productora y comercializadora de chocolate a base de algarroba en la provincia de Loja. que mediante un proceso de ingeniería, permita la elaboración de chocolate de algarrobo de buena calidad y con precios competitivos, lo que asegura que tendrá una buena acogida en el mercado, además permite crear algunas fuentes de trabajo, aprovechar los recursos existentes, creando un valor agregado y poner en práctica los conocimientos adquiridos, en beneficio de la sociedad. El objetivo general de este proyecto determinar el estudio de factibilidad para la implementación de una empresa productora y comercializadora de chocolate a base de algarroba en la provincia de Loja, y en base a este se desarrollaron los objetivos específicos para establecer los estudios de mercado, técnico, administrativo y legal, el estudio económico y Financiero y finalmente la evaluación del proyecto. La metodología utilizada para el logro de los objetivos se refiere al método deductivo que parte de lo general a lo particular; y el inductivo que parte de lo particular a lo general. Por ultimo Método analítico- descriptivo; se lo requirió para interpretar resultados de cuadros y tablas en base a los resultados obtenidos en el estudio de mercado. Para determinar la aceptación del producto en el mercado se empleó una encuesta a los demandantes y oferentes de la provincia de Loja. Dentro de la discusión se realizó el estudio de mercado donde se estableció la demanda; pudiéndose obtener la demanda insatisfecha que es de 167691 chocolates de 3 algarroba en el primer año, posteriormente se estableció el plan de comercialización, determinación del precio, plaza y publicidad del producto; En el estudio técnico se detalla el tamaño y localización de la planta; En el estudio administrativo y legal de la empresa se determinó el grupo empresarial, la constitución, organización y los manuales de funciones. En el estudio financiero se señala la inversión necesaria para poder implementar la empresa la misma que es de $ 44900,37 Finalmente se realizó la evaluación para lo cual se analizó los siguientes indicadores: Valor Actual Neto (VAN) es de $ 9362,48 Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR) es de 18,71% Relación Beneficio Costo (RBC) es de $ 0.09 ctvs.; Periodo de Recuperación de Capital (PRC) es de 4 años, 1 mes, 24 días, en el Análisis de Sensibilidad con un incremento en los costos de 9.50%, y disminución en los ingresos de 8 %. Por lo cual se concluye que el presente proyecto es factible, y se recomienda su ejecución, debido a que es rentable económicamente, y cuenta con un amplio mercado.
