LEGAL PERIOD 2017-2018. Its general objective was: To identify the factors of Nutrition in the pre-school age that intervene in the Cognitive Development of children, for which methods such as: scientific, analytical-synthetic; and, descriptively, the sample was of 57 participants; the instruments applied were: a checklist from which it was possible to appreciate that: remember nutritious food 20 children representing 71.42% always, 3 children for 10.71% at times and 5 children for 17.85% seldom; while 20 children representing 71.42% always, 6 children sometimes for 21.42% and 2 children very rarely for a 7.14, completed the puzzle; and, 19 children who represent 67.87% always, 5 children sometimes for 17.85% and 4 children very rarely for 14.28%, solved the problems. Concluding that once the proposal was applied, it was found that when the father of the family provides adequate nutrition, the cognitive development of the infants is raised, contributing to the solution of the problem posed.
