| Zusammenfassung: | The objective of the present curricular integration work was analyzing the parents’ role and the social children development in initial level 1 from the Guillermo Maldonado Valencia Basic Education School, period 2024; was a qualitative study, exploratory and descriptive type, inductive method, non-experimental. An interview was applied to a teacher and an observation sheet, a total of 30 students. The results showed that most children have a correct social development, evidencing the parents’ role in the positive upbringing of their children, as those who provide a safe and a confidence environment help that the children feel comfortable when interacting with their classmates, facilitating their adaptation to school, likewise by inculcate values from home, the children show the ability to participate in group games, communicate and respect rules, also that activities that encourage social interaction are positively influenced by support and commitment parents, showing a positive social behavior and good adaptation in the classroom, however, the small group that presented difficulties in social participation and adaptation, needs support and specific strategies of their parents to improve their social skills.
