الملخص: | Family dysfunctionality is a real problem of society where the integrity of its members is affected, therefore, the thesis is proposed: DYSFUNCTIONAL HOMES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN CHILDREN FROM 5 TO 6 YEARS IN THE EDUCATIONAL UNIT JOSÉ ÁNGEL PALACIO , CITY OF LOJA, PERIOD 2018-2019. The general objective seeks to determine the degree of involvement of dysfunctional households in the development of children's emotional intelligence. The research is transversal, the methods used were: scientific, analytical-synthetic and statistical-descriptive; instruments were used such as: family APGAR test, which diagnosed and analyzed the functional status of the family through the perception that it has its own members; and, the Mesquite test, which measured the level of emotional intelligence of children. The population was made up of 1 teacher, 23 children and 23 parents. The most significant results showed that 70% of those investigated have severe and moderate family dysfunctionality. Therefore, the intervention and application of the proposal that allowed the child to control, express, understand their emotions and respond positively when under pressure was timely, thus showing an improvement that reduced the problem to 26%. Finally, it was concluded that family dysfunctionality is linked to the development of emotional intelligence, and it is recommended to work with the educational triad (children-teachers-parents) in the development of emotional intelligence, setting out guidelines on how to carry a Assertive communication and thus improve relationships for an adequate family structure. |
