الملخص:The investigation consisted of analyzing yes the use of the Internet as pedagogic tool it facilitates the collaborative learning of the teachers of Basic Education of the Fiscal Schools of Riobamba's city. It was based on conceptual models or paradigms looking for evidences to be confirmed, the work places in the interpretive investigation (research), with qualitative methodology, I design correlacional and evaluativa. The investigation is considered to be an active, systematic and rigorous process of investigation directed to knowing on yes the use of the Internet as pedagogic tool facilitates the collaborative learning of the teachers. The results of the process of investigation demonstrate the importance and practical usefulness of the investigated problem: 88.25 % of the polled ones demonstrated that they qualified with the Internet as pedagogic tool; 84.8 % indicates that after the training the use of this technology is very frequent; 100 % of the polled teachers demonstrates that they know and use technological tools (chat, forum, e-mail) to realize processes of communication and to overcome the professional isolation; 91.7 % reveals that with the use of the Internet they can be employed at collaborative equipments(teams) of learning. The theoretical sustenance of the realized investigation (research) realized, It rests on the Technologies of the information and communication, on the use of the Internet, on the Theories constructivistas of the learning, on the limits of the work on collaborative equipments and on the learning represented by the computer. Finally as corollary of realized investigation, we have designed and constructed a virtual campus to realize Education distantly in Chimborazo's National University, using the Internet as pedagogic tool.
