Summary: | The present investigation related with pictograms and its influence in the oral language development in the children from five to six year from the Luis Pasteur Basic education school from the parish Santiago, canton Loja in the Academic year 2019-2020, whose general objective To determine the incidence ofe the pictograms in the oral language development in the children from five to six year. The Type of study was descriptive analytical that frames a mixed approach. The investigated sample was established to threes teachers and sixteen children from the first basic education. The method used: scientist, inductive deductive, analytical and syntetic. The techniques and instruments used: prepared survey and directed to teachers establish the use of pictograms in the daily work day with students, and test Zimmerman applied to the children from first year of basic education to determine the oral language development. As a result from the diagnostic it was found that 66.75% of those investigated present problems in terms of understanding the concept of law, imitating sounds, distinguishing differences in weight and recognizing body parts; Likewise, 54.25% of students have problems in knowing currencies, naming animals, understanding the senses and articulation of phonemes ch, ñ and l, thus preventing children from establishing good communication.. That is why some activities were carried aut to allow an oral language communication in 75%. Although the purpose could not be fulfilled due to lack of time and parents' collaboration. Concluding that the guide of playful activities with pictograms help in the oral language development in the children from five to six years. Therefore teachers are recommended to include in their class days recreational activities with pictograms to strengthen the development of oral language in children. |
