總結:Logical-mathematical relationships enable children to explore and understand their environment through numbers, symbols, figures, concepts, and problem-solving, enhancing their abstract thinking. Experimenting with concrete objects fosters a positive attitude toward mathematics, facilitating the use of acquired knowledge in building these concepts. Therefore, this research aimed to determine how concrete materials strengthen the logical-mathematical relationships of kindergarten children at Teniente Hugo Ortiz Primary School in Loja city. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with a mixed approach and utilized inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic methods to gather precise information on each variable, grounding the study. To collect results, the EVAMAT-0 instrument was applied to a population of twenty-five children, showing that 72% were in the low and medium zones due to difficulties in recognizing basic concepts, assembling, constructing and identifying figures, relating numbers to quantities, counting sequentially, and solving simple problems, while 28% were in the high zone. After implementing the activity guide based on structured and unstructured concrete materials, a notable improvement was observed, reducing the percentage in the low and medium zones to 24% and increasing the high zone to 76%. Concluding that concrete materials are effective in enhancing mathematical skills as they enrich learning through the manipulation of tangible objects, aiding in the understanding and assimilation of knowledge, and enabling children to solve everyday problems.
