Summary:This thesis is titled AFFECTIVE SELF-STIMULATION PSYCHOEDUCTIVE STRATEGY TO OVERCOME PARENTAL AFFECTIVE LACK OF FOURTH YEAR PARALLEL “A” CHILDREN FROM THE “CIUDAD DE LOJA” BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOL, 2019-2020, its general objective is to implement psychoeducational strategies of affective self-stimulation to overcome parental affective deficiency, aimed at the investigated population. To achieve this purpose, a descriptive cross-sectional study and pre-experimental design were carried out; Scientific, analytical-synthetic, inductiondeduction methods were used; descriptive, historical, logical, modeling and statistical; As an instrument, the Affective Behavior Assessment Questionnaire (BARS) was applied, in a sample of 15 students, likewise the information obtained throughout the aforementioned investigation was that the students of the fourth year parallel A in the pretest sample that in 93,66% there is a presence of affection in their family relationship, while 100% state that hostility prevails in their family relationship; After the application of the intervention proposal, it is evidenced, in the post-test, that hostility decreases by 60%, while affection increases by 66,66%, which is achieved by using the coefficient of Pearson's linear correlation (r), values of r = 0.70 and r = 0.77 respectively, giving a positive correlation, concluding that the parental affective deficiencies of the investigated students were notably improved, therefore, it is recommended that the Educational Institution continue with the application of workshops to appeal the problems present in the students.
