Currently the government and the Ministry of Tourism, has promoted the campaign ALL YOU NEED IS ECUADOR (Ecuador is all you need) is represented as the home of the largest mega diversity of the planet, allowing you to enjoy the wonderful climate and breathtaking landscapes Four regions, four worlds in one place. The cities Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca among others are working with the different tourist authorities to show the world its natural and cultural wealth. The Province of Loja, is undertaking projects to increase tourism and also enhance the natural and cultural part, which is not being properly valued and used. One of the most picturesque corners of the province of Loja is Zapotillo, now become the most important tourist sites in the southern region of Ecuador. The canton has natural and cultural attractions representative, some with suitable conditions for tourist activities. From this point of view it was important to develop the research on RUTA TOURISM OF NATURAL AND CULTURAL RESOURCES OF THE CANTON Zapotillo LOJA, province. For which it was proposed as a general objective, to design a natural and cultural tourist route for Zapotillo Canton province of Loja. ", In correlation with this, specific objectives as do the tourist diagnosis of natural and cultural resources of Canton raised Zapotillo province of Loja, proposing the design of the tourism route prioritized attractive Zapotillo Canton of the Province of Loja, make the socialization of the proposal from the tourist trail, with stakeholders in tourism Zapotillo Canton. Within the methodology used for the development of each of the objectives was necessary to use appropriate methods such as direct observation and interview techniques. Thus, the matrix for tourist diagnosis of Carla Ricaurte and proposed methodology was used by the Ministry of Tourism in the first target for diagnosis and inventory Zapotillo canton of the most outstanding natural and cultural resources. In the collection of information the technique of direct observation, applied through descriptive and literary review records was used also was used as a research tool photography five frames per record, it was necessary to see the current situation in the area of study, she worked on the basis of a SWOT matrix, allowing it to demonstrate the internal and external situation that influences directly and indirectly on it. For the development of the second objective interview involved with the issue investigated in order to validate the information, analysis of documents for the design of the tourist route, preparation of the brochure and informative cd as a means of dissemination was done was applied and conservation of the attractions that are included in the proposal. For the third objective 5 socialization of research work it was conducted jointly with the proposal for the dissemination of the main natural and cultural attractions of Zapotillo canton, with leading authorities to know and promote the strategies proposed. The research results determined with the diagnosis posed as its first objective, the various natural and cultural sites as: Spa Carrizo, Mother Church of Santa Rosa de Lima, Palo Santo Valley Wildlife Reserve La Ceiba Pillars Waterfall Colonel, Blossoming guayacanes, Baños del Inca, Cazaderos Reserve, are the most representative natural and cultural resources, attractions that were taken into account in designing the tourist path that "Zapotillo birthplace of Guayacán" mentioned proposal was called into Goal , same that was socialized to the Cantonal Council of Tourism and communities involved in tourism. In compliance with the third objective, described as interesting tourist route and excellence by attendees and which in turn contributes to the supply of natural and cultural tourism Zapotillo Canton. With the completion of the investigation it concludes that the tourist diagnosis, identified the natural and cultural resources of great importance to develop the tourist route, however the lack of promotion and dissemination by the institutions responsible has not let the people know, for So do not give the right value to this lack of management of local authorities adds to preserve these sites visit in optimal conditions, for which the natural and cultural tourist route "Zapotillo birthplace of Guayacán" serve to promote and disseminate these attractions, also have the acceptance of the people and tourists visiting the Canton, is a proposal with great potential for economic development and socio-cultural development of the canton and province, as it will reveal its natural and cultural heritage through a vehicular travel by all cantons and can visit natural attractions, as well as the opportunity to attend various activities and shows offered, you can be partakers of tourism in the community by providing customs and traditions of the parishes in the canton Zapotillo. The recommendations are directed entirely to the authorities of the Autonomous Decentralized Municipal Government of Zapotillo (GADM-Z), for inclusion in the ITUR natural and cultural tourist route "Zapotillo birthplace of Guayacán" the cd information leaflet and brochures; likewise, that promises investigated as profitability in future services to be provided and also optimizes tourism, positioning the Zapotillo Canton as a tourist destination.
