Shrnutí:Menopause is a normal and unavoidable stage in the life of the woman, which will produce different changes in this period it, suffers loss of calcium due to the decrease in estrogen during this stage, therefore it hinders the absorption of this ore, producing an increase of blood pressure and osteoporosis. Epidemiological studies on the relationship of calcium and bone tissue operation have concluded that intake of this mineral rising minimizes bone loss that occurs with age. Given the implications on health, the primary goal is to minimize or eliminate factors that can contribute to make this pathology present. In the present investigation it was proposed determinate the levels of serum calcium, blood pressure measurement, the relationship of these two parameters and disseminate outcomes through the delivery of the analysis, women hypertensive menopausal, which formed part of the research process. The study that was conducted descriptive quantitative and cross-sectional, well I analyzed 56 signs of women menopausal with hypertension, which met the inclusion criteria. In where 37.5% of the analyzed samples had low serum calcium levels, the 37.5% of high blood pressure values were to conclude that there is a direct relationship between calcium and blood pressure in women menopausal. Finally the studies accomplished of serum calcium, blood pressure were disseminated through the delivery of the report of the analysis, in an effort to raise awareness about this issue and take actions to improve the quality of life of the patients.
