ALTERNATIVE GUIDELINES, the same that was developed in accordance with the Rules of Academic Board of the National University of Loja. The general objective was raised for this research was: To determine the incidence of Basic first year curriculum and its impact on the development of first year children logical – mathematics skills “María Auxiliadora” school Cariamanga city, Calvas cantón, Loja province, period 2013 – 2014. The methods used were: Scientific, Inductive, Deductive , Analytic - Synthetic, Descriptive and Statistical Model : methods were used. The techniques and instruments used were : Survey to first year teacher of basic education “Maria Auxiliadora” School Cariamanga city to establish the application of the First Year Curriculum of Basic Education in the daily work with children ; and, an Observation guide applied to First Grade children to determine the development of the Logical Math skills . Analyzed the results of the survey concluded that teachers : 100% of teachers surveyed say they apply the First-Year Curriculum in the daily work with the children and show that there is an Educational Institution Curriculum Institutional Plan or First Year Curriculum . In support of the research work an Observation guide was used to determine the development of logical skills Mathematics with the following results: 42% of children have a developing Skills Logical -Mathematical equivalent to Highly Satisfactory, 26% Satisfactory; and 32% Unsatisfactory. Proving that there is a considerable percentage of children who have difficulties in the development of the Logical – Mathematics skills |
