| Gaia: | The present work of curricular integration had a general objective: To implement the psycho-pedagogical intervention through the program from oral language to written language (LOLE) for the re-education of reading in a girl with reading retardation, a 5th-grade student of the Educare fiscomisional educational unit., period 2022 – 2023. For the diagnosis of reading delay, the Battery for evaluating reading competence (EVALEC -4) and the Test for the evaluation of phonological knowledge (PECO) were used. The results of the EVALEC - 4 battery place it below the 50th percentile in terms of its reading competence and acquired mastery of the reading processes and, in the PECO test, a low assessment with a decile score of 3 in the ability to become aware and manipulate the syllabic and phonemic structure of words orally. A quantitative approach was used, with a descriptive, cross-sectional case study design. With the program's application from oral language to written language (LOLE), there were changes in the phonological access tests, reading accuracy, fluency, and expressiveness, and in the levels of phonemic and syllabic knowledge. Finding that the program from oral language to written language (LOLE) has been effective and favors the re-education of reading specifically meta-phonological skills. |
