At work is an analysis of how short text messages: The chat language and its influence on the impoverishment of the ability to express and generate ideas among young people Loja city, considering it as a new discursive genre, for which direct observation in educational institutions was formalized: Daniel Alvarez, Porciúncula and Dolorosa, where the phenomenon, motif search, in order to know how technology is detected is a means of generating a series of consequences young people who write in their own way. In this context, it was found that SMS is a tool that allows all, especially young people who use them to be level with the rest of his group that constantly interacts and who understood human. At present, in the city of Loja, young people who have objective influence of messages, are generally poor to express themselves, use the network or Cellular Phone-vil to interact with other social groups, this is confirmed with the results achieved in the field study. The both general and specific targets were tested with the results of the field study, where it is estimated that by using the chat len-gourd has an excessive influence among individuals. These results are in statistical tables with their analysis, both quantitative and qualitative. In addition, scientific, inductive and deductive methods are used, the same who helped gather as much information to explain in depth the present pre-exploration work. Techniques such as: the survey and interview were required to obtain criteria and thoughts that were truthful to better understand this phenomenon; and then find a solution.
