| Gaia: | A limited resilience capacity is gravely affecting students, due to this, a psycho-educative program was implemented to encourage the resilience in the students of seventh grade of basic education. The study was descriptive, cross sectional, with a quasi-experimental design. The methods used were, scientific, analytic, inductive, deductive, descriptive, synthetic, diagnostic, logic and statistic. A structured survey and resilience test were applied, in a 20 students sample. Results showed in the pre-test that 60% of the investigated population had a "medium" resilience capacity. After the implementation of the psycho-educative program this value raised to 65% showing a "high" resilience capacity; due to this the valuation of the program through the Pearson’s linear correlation coefficient reaches an r= 0, 37 becoming a low positive correlation validating the program, in conclusion the program indeed raised the resilient capacity in the students, at the same time it’s recommended the continued application of this program in the institution. |
