| Resumo: | The present research work entitled: Motivation as a didactic strategy and its contribution to the learning of mathematics of 6th grade students of the General Basic Education School Teniente Hugo Ortiz, academic period 2018-2019. Alternative Guidelines, has as a general objective: To analyze motivation as a didactic strategy and its contribution to facilitate the learning of mathematics of 6th grade students of the General Basic Education School Teniente Hugo Ortiz, during the first quarter of the 2018-2019 school year. It is carried out under an approach that is quanti-qualitative of descriptive type, with observational methods that allowed to observe in a direct way and without variations the reality and its problematic, scientific, synthetic, inductive, descriptive and statistical, the same ones that were necessary to raise and to deepen the subject, to identify the facts through the direct observation, to analyze the scientific information and the data obtained of the applied surveys, as well as to allow the selection of the necessary elements for the elaboration of the theoretical foundation and the formulation of conclusions and recommendations. The analyzed sample corresponds to a total of 30 students and one teacher. It is concluded that motivation as a strategy has a direct influence on the learning of the students, being necessary the participation and intervention of trained professionals who promote the knowledge and application of motivational strategies in the educational environment. |
