Zusammenfassung:The change of modality that suffered education because of the pandemic, generated a transition in the educational process. In this case, ICTs play a leading role. Ecuador, for its part, was aware of this problem, so a question arises: how to improve teaching performance? presenting as objective: to explain the interaction between the application of virtual didactic strategies and teaching performance. The development of the research has a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive and correlational approach, with a non-probabilistic sample of 100 teachers that corresponds to the total population. To collect the information was used a questionnaire created by the authors. The results showed that, despite the changes that education had in this period, virtual didactic strategies stand out as an important component in teaching performance, especially so that the virtual modality becomes creative
