Uso de Zeranol y Boldenona en Ganado Bovino de Ceba

The research was carried out between the months of January and March 2021, with the aim of “Analyzing the effect of zeranol and boldenone in the fattening stage of crossed male bovines”. The methodology of this work is based on a documentary research, it is carried out by the inductive-deductive method, bibliographic documentary, information obtained from the university dspaces, academic google bibliographies, other bibliographic consultation spaces, indexed journals and scientific articles, In addition, data is taken from a real case of the “Bello Amanecer” farm, located in the Rancho Quemado sector, Malimpia parish, Rosa Zárate canton, Esmeraldas province, where 25 crossbred steers were used. with Brahman, Nelore and Brown Swiss, and 36 mg of Zeranol was applied subcutaneously, 6 ml Boldenone intramuscularly. The animals were fed with savoy grass (brachiaria brizantha) and supplements: palm mud, molasses, mineralized salt and grain salt. As a result, an average daily gain of 0,978 kg live weight was obtained, the benefit-cost ratio was 1,42 dollars.
