Impacto turístico de las ferias gastronómicas en la Casa de Olmedo

This case study was carried out with the purpose of knowing the impact that the gastronomic fair of the Olmedo house in the city of Babahoyo has generated, carried out in the month of September 2022, where the following research question was planned. How does the gastronomic fairs of the house of Olmedo impact tourism development? Regarding the objectives, the following general objective was elaborated: Analyze the tourist impact of gastronomic fairs in Olmedo's house. in order to know the tourist impact that this type of fair leaves to favor the community. The technology used for this research work, established a mixed approach because qualitative and quantitative research techniques were used since the survey technique was achieved, which was applied through the Google Forms tool by email, and surveys aimed at different restaurant owners and administrators, as a result of these applied techniques, the final result is reached in which 98.9% express that this type of gastronomic fairs are important for tourism development and should continue to increase in the canton.
