إضافة وسم | الملخص: | Encephalocele is a rare defect of the neural tube due to closure error, characterized by the protrusion of the cranial contents beyond the normal limits of the skull through a defect of the cranial vault and are included within the fusion disorders of the skull. the structures of the dorsal midline of the primitive neural tube, during the first four weeks of gestation. The present clinical case, aims to apply nursing care to obtain immediate recovery and avoid the risks of infection in the neonate who is operated on because of presenting extracranial tissue in the occipital region of the skull, due to a defect in the cranial vault. This clinical case is based on a case of encephalocele that was observed in the Roberto Gilbert Pediatric Hospital of the City of Guayaquil, during the year of rotating internship in pediatric rotation, with the application of the nursing care process, Neonato tubo adequate attention and recovery is immediate without any alteration in the skin and no cognitive alteration was observed |
