Summary: | Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disease that causes various inflammations in the peripheral, symmetric and bilateral joints that produces stiffness, swelling, pain and decreased joint movement, especially of the hands and feet of the human being, for this reason the realization of this case clinical analysis is that it analyzes a 42-year-old female patient diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, which presents the following manifestations: pain, limitations in the mobility of the carpals and fingers of both hands, in addition the fourth / fifth fingers of the left hand present tendency to swan neck deformations, for this reason the objective of this case is to determine the nursing care process of the patient under study through the analysis of their medical history in order to improve their stability and quality of life. The results of the study carried out on the patient show that she has acute pain in the joints that hinders the mobility of the hands, cannot sleep, stress and is allergic to the drug Naproxen but her lifestyle is correct, as she does not smoke, does not drinks and does not use psychotropic substances; In conclusion, based on the diagnostic interventions carried out, the treatment procedures have been determined by teaching massages and exercises for the joints in order to mitigate and alleviate the acute pain of the joints, as well as adjust optimal medications for the patient, however , it is necessary to monitor the disease in the long term in order to assess the effectiveness of the pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment carried out. |
