Summary:Pancreatitis is a digestive disease characterized by inflammation of the pancreas, which in your case can be mild or severe. When acute pancreatitis is diagnosed, pancreatic functions are abnormal and endocrine function returns to normal levels, exocrine demands a period of one year to recover completely, we must bear in mind that pancreatitis can exist in two levels, one that affects in minimal multi-organ dysfunction and, in turn, uncomplicated recovery while severe pancreatitis whose main complication is organ failure. In the following clinical study, we will detail the health status of a 31-year-old patient diagnosed with pancreatitis. In the process of this content, the history of the disease, the evolution of the patient will be presented, giving as alternatives or options to apply a nursing care plan that will allow to assess the patient's lifestyle through functional patterns, obtaining the necessary data to identify nursing diagnoses and studying or planning the different mediations obtaining positive results in the evolution of the disease on the quality of life of the patient.
