Summary:This present clinical case study is based on the physiotherapy intervention focused on the care process in a 16-year-old female patient with grade II anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. The objective of this research is to demonstrate the incidence of knee ligament injury in athletes who attend the physiotherapy center of said institution and also to demonstrate the mechanism by which they are affected, to establish the prevalence of said pathology. where prevention measures for the anterior cruciate ligament and the correct functioning of the neuromuscular system must be determined, which plays a fundamental role in the control of joint stability, demonstrating that physiotherapy is a treatment that, in addition to being able to be adapted and individualized, is Effective for any type of injury. In order to provide the patient with a better quality of life, short, medium and long-term objectives were set, among which gait and balance stand out.
