Sumario:SUMMARY The process of elaboration and use of the organic fertilizer (biol) in the cultivation of cocoa, is elaborated from the manure of the animals and vegetal residues. The procedure is simple and above all economic, it can be prepared at home, because it does not need sophisticated equipment or hard-to-get supplies, it is based on the principle of recycling waste, it should be noted that there is no single formula for its preparation, This depends on the availability of organic waste and its fermentation. After the fermentation process, the preparation should be stirred intensively and then sifted with a cloth or canvas. Biol can be stored in plastic bottles for up to six months, under adequate conditions and under shade. It is used in a variety of plants, whether short cycle, annual, biennial or perennial, grasses, forage, legumes, fruit, vegetables, with applications directed to foliage, soil and / or root. Improving yields in biomass, flowering and fruit quality. With recommendations at hatchery level, it is applied to the foliage in doses of 1 liter of biol + 19 liters of water (5%), in biweekly frequencies, while in established plantations, it is recommended to apply 6 liters of biol + 14 liters of water ( 30%), with application frequency in the rainy season every 30 days.
