Izvleček:The research carried out at the Escobar Commercial located in the Vinces canton had the objective of defining the turnover rate of the personnel in the company and determining the factors that originate it, through the implementation of the analytical method and the use of the survey as an instrument for collection of information. The results obtained in the investigation showed that the high turnover rate in the commercial is caused by the inadequate personnel selection process, a poor training plan, the absence of a function manual which causes the duplication of functions in the company, a low incentive system and the application of excessive fines are reasons why employees choose to resign
