總結:Chard cultivation in Ecuador represents a referential economic potential for the development of horticultural producers. By virtue of this, it is necessary to study methodologies that allow improving yields while reducing production costs; taking advantage of the capacities of the Azolla aquatic fern, in combination with the Anabaena bacteria, they allow the accumulation of atmospheric Nitrogen and thus decrease the applications of synthetic fertilizers. The use of ACTIVATED MOUNTAIN MICROORGANISMS (MMA) (EM), allows plants to better assimilate the minerals available in organic matter, by releasing them through decomposition and integration into the soil. By applying Azolla plus Anabaena solution, whether fresh or composted, we are adding a considerable amount of Organic Matter, the same one that contains nutrients available to plants. In the present work, the activities were carried out in the “Oasis de Paz” farm, owned by Ney Rodríguez Cagua, located in the “Palmasola” compound of the Ricaurte parish, Urdaneta canton, Los Ríos province. It is located at km 3 of the trunk road - Palmasola - Buenos Aires, at 25 masl at the UTM geographic coordinates: 9 827 867 south latitude and 677 112 west longitude, in which results were achieved in which the application of the treatments of Azolla plus Anabaena plus MMA, approximated the yields to the Commercial Witness, the same as the treatment with the best results, since the recommended doses of Azolla composted 2 000 kg / ha + MMA 600 l / ha, show no significant difference in foliar emission, either of the two treatments can be used in situations where the horticulturist needs to replace the fertilization system. After carrying out the economic analysis, it is obtained that Treatment 8 or Commercial Witness presents economic benefits of $ 3 132.33 USD compared to $ 2,654.74 USD reported by Treatment 1, reaching a difference of $ 477.59 USD.
